Gugulethu Sophie Mbatha, also popularly known as Gugu - is a British stage and film actress. Her fame was boosted by appearing on the BBC's Doctor Who,' a British science fiction television series. Beginning Of career Handler started out her career in the Oxygen network's all-female cast of an undiscovered camera/real-life joke show on TV called Girls Behaving Poorly. Between 2002 and 2005, the show aired. The handler appeared in various shows, such as Weekends at D.L. The Bernie Mac Show The Practice and My Wife and Kids. Handler started her career as a correspondent on The Tonight Show. Handler's big break was in 2006 when she was able to host her own program on E! This show was named The Chelsea Handler. The show ran for two seasons. Handler later performed in the US on Comedy Central Hour Stand-Up Comedy Tour. VH1, Comedy Central Premium Blend, HBO and Comedy Central have all aired her stand-up show. The announcement was made in 2010 that she would host MTV's Video Music Awards in 2010.
